KLiving privacy policy

1. Who we are

KLiving LLC (“KLiving”, “we”) is the operator behind a family of consumer brands including KreditBuilder and HomeWifi30. This policy covers the data we collect on the parent marketing site (kliving.org), including the referral landing at /r/[code]; the KLiving account app at account.kliving.org, where you sign up, sign in, and check out for every brand; and the account-level data that flows through every KLiving brand. Each brand also publishes its own privacy policy for product-specific data handling.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide directly: when you create a KLiving account from any brand site, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and billing or shipping address as required by the brand you're signing up for. Account-level data is shared across brands in your account; product-specific data stays with the brand that collected it.

Referral data: when you follow a /r/[code] referral link we store the code in a first-party cookie for up to 30 days, so we can attribute and credit your signup.

Automatically collected: your IP address, device and browser information (such as browser type and operating system), pages visited, referrer URLs, ad click identifiers in the link you arrived on, and interaction timestamps. Analytics and marketing cookies and similar technologies are used only with your consent — see our cookie settings.

3. How we use your information

  • Create and maintain your KLiving account
  • Route you to the correct brand signup flow (including attributing referrals)
  • Send service and security notices (verification emails, password resets, logins from new devices)
  • Provide cross-brand customer support when you contact us at the account level
  • Improve the site and product family through aggregate analytics (when you consent)
  • Measure how our ads perform and show KLiving product ads to people who have visited our sites (only when you turn on marketing)
  • Comply with legal obligations and prevent fraud

4. Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We share account-level data with the KLiving brand(s) you have subscribed to so they can provide service. We share information with our auth, payments, email, and analytics providers under contracts that require them to use data only to provide their services. We do not share data between KLiving brands beyond the account-level fields (name, email, billing) needed to run a shared account.

Advertising partners. When you turn on marketing, we share some information with advertising and social networks — Google Ads, Meta (Facebook and Instagram), and TikTok — so we can measure how our ads perform and show KLiving product ads to people who have visited our sites. Klaviyo also receives your onsite activity to personalize our email and SMS. Under California law this counts as “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising, even though we receive no payment for it. What we send:

  • Identifiers: your IP address, browser and device information, cookie and ad click identifiers, and your email address and phone number in hashed (one-way scrambled) form so the partner can match the visit to an account it already has
  • Internet activity: the page you were on and what you did — for example, that you viewed a product, created an account, or started checkout
  • Commercial information: that you bought a subscription, which product, and the price

We have shared these categories with advertising networks and social networks in the past 12 months. We never share your name, street address, date of birth, Social Security number, credit or identity-verification data, or card details with advertising partners. We have no actual knowledge of sharing the personal information of anyone under 16.

Advertising sharing is off until you turn on marketing in our cookie banner, and you can turn it off at any time on our cookie settings page. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as an opt-out and stop this sharing on our servers as well as in your browser. When you follow a link from one KLiving site to another (for example from a brand site to account.kliving.org to check out), the choice you made goes with you for that visit, so we don't ask again. A KLiving site you open directly asks you there, and a choice made on that site always wins.

5. Your privacy rights

If you are a California resident, you have rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information under CCPA/CPRA. To opt out of sharing, turn off marketing on our cookie settings page, or turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser — we apply it automatically and the cookie settings page shows when it is being honored. 6. Data retention

Account records persist for as long as you have an active KLiving account, and for up to 7 years after account closure for tax and accounting reasons. Referral cookies expire after 30 days. Site-level analytics are aggregated and anonymized after 12 months. Advertising partners keep what they receive under their own privacy policies.

7. Data security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Account passwords are hashed with modern algorithms; payment data never touches our servers in raw form.

8. Changes to this policy

We update this policy when the service or regulations change. Material changes come with email notice and a banner on this site.
